Black Hollies - Gloomy Monday Morning
Been a few weeks thought I would give a little attention to my other blog. I purchased this LP last month for my wife and did not have a chance to record it to the computer. She's been buggin me so I thought I would get it done. What a brillian LP! I had actually listened to it a bunch before today (which is why she was buggin me). My wife had an Amazon gift card for 25 bucks and she wanted the two other Black Hollies LP's. I pulled a little switcheroo on her today. I ordered one Black Hollies LP, the latest Len Price 3 LP, and found the other Black Hollies LP on another record store site and bought it on vinyl, otherwise it would have been a cd.

Wow, 2 posts this month. Yeah, not as active as I am on my other blog. What can I say, work/school keeps me running. Here is another fine St. Valentine Records release

Seam - Days Of Thunder
Sorry I have been slow on this blog. I've beenso busy in school, work, etc. Here is a very early Seam 45, when Mac from Superchunk played drums for them. This is the rare purple vinyl version on Homestead.

Fire Town - Carry The Torch
Killer song from my college days. I was heavy into the REM sound and this fit the bill. Butch Vig, the drummer later became a huge producers as well as a member of Garbage.

Galaxie 500 - Blue Thunder
Perfect song for those melancholy moments. I remember buying this LP new and just being mesmerized by the sound. Never saw them live but I believe they would have been perfect on the My Blood Valentine, Buffalo Tom, Yo La Tengo show I went to. This group should be celebrated by the masses!
